The new version of the software includes the following changes:
1. Three new plugins: Binary protocol simulation, File transfer, Replay log (http://www.aggsoft.com/serial-port-monitor/plugins.htm)
2. Added: the "New session" dialog.
3. Added: the "Dual ports" mode that allows to capture data exchange between 2 external devices with help of special cable.
4. Added: RTS/CTS signals logging.
5. Added: German and French translations
6. Now the program can send CRC after a data packet (CRC16, CRC32, Modbus CRC).
7. Interface changes.
8. Some small bugfixes.

We've added a new data view, that puts hex on the left and ASCII on the right. Now, you can create and easily use color presets for data view windows. The new version fixes several bugs in the program and the spy driver too.

This update is mainly a bug-fix release, but we've added several options for problem COM port drivers. In some cases, with new options the program can open ports, when a driver reports about errors. After 4 years, we've updated and improved the ASCII emulator plugins for this software too.

We've added following some useful features and fixed bugs reported our customers.
Now you can enable/disable ports auto-detection on start. It is very useful if your system has Bluetooth serial ports. Sometimes this ports take too much time to detect and the program freezes at start.
We've added reading of a friendly name of a serial port. It is very useful if you have many serial ports and serial port types in your PC.
