The data collection service is an independent program working in the background. This service can control locally installed printers and receive data from remote agent programs on other computers. This service saves all data to a database. Accurate Printer Monitor works with saved data.

 

You can change the data collection service's main settings using the "Edit - Data logging settings" menu item.

 

All settings are described in detail in other chapters.

 

Data logger console

 

The data logger console allows you to monitor collected data in real-time and fine-tune the data collection service settings. You can open the console using the "Edit - Data logger console" menu item.
