Alcatel 4200. SMDR/CDR data format and connection settings


This data is being extracted with help of the "Advanced PBX Data Logger" software only. It may not applicable for other software titles.

Alcatel 4200 E

You have to do the following settings using your Alcatel programming software (MMC).

If you don't have a cable you'll need to make the wiring directly on the CM board.

Connect X7, X8 : 10 pin BURNDY connector for connecting a pulse metering device (X7) and the MMC PC (X8). The terminals connected to these interfaces must be classified S.E.L.V.

Configuring Advanced PBX Data Logger as a TCP server

Advanced PBX Data Logger should be configured to the TCP server mode and listen on 0.0.0.0:RS232 (see below). The IP address 0.0.0.0 allows receiving data from all network connections on your computer. The port number should match the value from the SMDR settings in your (none).

1. Add a new configuration with the TCP data source (if you didn't it before).

Configuring a COM port

The COM port number should match the number in your system. You can check the correct port number in Devices Manager → Ports.

1. Add a new configuration with the RS232 data source (if you didn't it before).

2. Select the COM port and configure the communication settings for your PBX corresponding to your PBX settings.
