FIAS TCP (Micros Fidelio Interface Application over TCP)
This page shows how to get call records out of the FIAS TCP (Micros Fidelio Interface Application over TCP) into Advanced PBX Data Logger: the connection settings, the parser to select and the 11 fields the logger extracts for reports or a database. Switching SMDR output on, as documented
- Enable/disable the FIAS interface module and select the front-office system from a drop-down list before entering its IP address and port.
Record format notes
- FIAS messages begin with a two-character message type, a vertical bar, then two-character-name/value message fields, e.g. LR|RIPS|FLRNPTP#TADATISO|.
- Message types include LS (Link Start), LA (Link Alive), LE (Link End), LD (guest check-in), LR (guest check-out), GI/GO/GC (guest check-in/out/data-change), PS (posting charges, date as YYMMDD, time as HHMMSS).
- PS records post call charges to a guest folio using room number, digits dialed, call duration and minutes/price fields.

Reports and a database
Once records arrive, the logger writes them to a text file or to any ODBC database in real time, or hands them to the PBX Reports utility for manual, scheduled and e-mailed reports with a built-in web server. See exporting call log data to a database for the database setup.
